Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, has published the 10th edition of "Originals of Ararat", volume 1 of the two-volume edition. The publication is dedicated to the study of the “Ararat” journal of the Mother See. The book was prepared by Ms. Susanna Petrosyan, and the classification and editing of was done by Dr. Gevork Ter-Vardanyan.

This two-volume book summarizes and details the process of the publishing of the "Ararat" journal official newspaper in 1868-1919, 52 years of the general and complete picture of interests and accomplishments of the Mother See, members of the Brotherhood, and outside contributors.

The first volume of the book presents 79 valuable original articles relating to different fields of historiography, documentary, Armenian bibliography and medieval Armenian literature.

The book was published by the patronage of the Sarkis Gabrielyan Fund.
