New Publication - Commentary on the Holy Muron
With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians: a book titled “Commentary on the Holy Muron”, has been published. The book was originally written by His Beatitude Archbishop Hakob Nalyan (1706 to 1764) of blessed memory, Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople. The book is an interpretation of the 93th chapter of the Book of Prayers by St. Gregory of Narek. It has been translated from Classical Armenian (Krapar) into the modern day vernacular Armenian, by Deacon Tsolak Harutyunyan.
In the work, His Beatitude in addition to addressing issues concerning the Armenian Church rituals, worship and doctrinal definitions; also reflected on the meaning of the Holy Muron and its application. The Patriarch of blessed memory, by interpreting the 93th chapter of the Books of Prayer, explains the practical effect of the Holy Muron on the human soul and thoughts.
