Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has republished the "Book of Lamentations" by St. Gregory of Narek, translated into Eastern Armenian by Misak A. M. Gochunian (Kasim). It was first published in Constantinople in 1902 and is the first Eastern Armenian prose complete translation of Narek.

This second revised publication is dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the establishment of the "Zhamanak" daily of Constantinople.

The book was prepared for publication by Professor Hrachik Mirzoyan and Rev. Fr. Ararat Poghosyan, Director of the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

This book was published by the benevolent sponsorship of the benefactor of the Mother See, the Sarkis Gabrellian Fund.
