The Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has published the book entitled “Annals and Bio-bibliography of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; from 1951 to 2019”. This book has been prepared for publication by Rev. Fr. Ararat Poghosyan, Director of Vatche and Tamar Manookian Library of the Mother See, Gohar Sargsyan and Maya Grigoryan, PhD.
The Publication is dedicated to the 20 th Anniversary of Enthronement of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.
The book consists of two parts. The first part includes the annals of His Holiness from 1951 to 2019, and the second part is His bio-bibliography, which enables an opportunity to both today’s society and future generations to wholly recognize and make a fair and unbiased assessment to the 20-year's zealous and prosperous activities of the Pontiff of All Armenians.
The work is intended for the wide range of readers, especially for the specialists dealing with the history of the Armenian Church during the first two decades of the 21st century.
The manual was published through the sponsorship of the “Sarkis Gabrellian” Fund.
