New Appointments in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
Upon the pontifical order of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, new appointments have been made within the administrative structure of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Dioceses of the Armenian Church.
His Grace Bishop Abraham Mkrtchian, Primate of the Diocese of Syunik, has been appointed President of the Advisory Council for the Mother See?s Christian Education Center. His Grace will remain Primate of the Diocese of Syunik.
Rev. Fr. Bagrat Galstanian, Dean of the Vazkenian Seminary of Sevan, has been appointed President of the Advisory Council of the Mother See?s Information Services Department.
Rev. Fr. Sarkis Chopourian, Rev. Fr. Maghakia Ohanian and Rev. Fr. Vatchй Hayrapetian have been reassigned, and will continue their spiritual service in the Diocese of New Nakhijevan and Russia. According to the order of His Grace Bishop Yezras Nersissian, Diocesan Primate, the priests will serve in St. Petersburg, Volgograd and Astrakhan, respectively.
