Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to Participate in “Museum Night”

On Saturday 20 May, with the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin will participate in the national event: "Museum Night". The Mother Cathedral Museum, and the Ruben Sevak Museum, will be open and free to the public from 14:00 to 24:00.
The following events will also take place in Holy Etchmiadzin:
May 20, 14:00 – the “The Decrease from the Cross” painting of the Residence art collection will be displayed for the first time in the Rouben Sevak Museum of the Mother See.
May 20, 15:00 - in the Rouben Sevak Museum of Mother See, there will be a discussion entiled “The cultural activity of the Armenian Church today". The speaker is Rev. Fr. Asoghik Karapetyan, Director of the Archives and Museums of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
May 20, 16:30 – “Visits of Armenian Patriarchs to the Vatican” documentary films exhibition will be presented in the Rouben Sevak Museum of Mother See.
May 21, 18:30 - “The opening of “Vatican's gifts to Etchmiadzin” exhibition will be launched in the Mother Cathedral museum.
