From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, We extend our Pontifical Blessings and congratulations to all women and girls on the occasion of March 8.
The history of our people is full of examples of brave, selfless and virtuous women with Christian values, who were inspired by the bright image of the Holy Mother of God.
This holiday is an opportunity to reevaluate the role of the woman in our national life, her commitment in the strengthening of the families and upbringing of the new generation, as well as, to appreciate women's important contribution to the progress of our state, the development of today's society. Indeed, today women embellish the lives of the Motherland and people with their praiseworthy activities, new achievements and successes in various spheres.
Dear women and girls, our wish is that Almighty God keep and support you under His Holy Right Hand to continue your efforts through your unique activities, zeal of love, devotion and care, for the sake of the happiness of your families, the flourishing life of our people, the power and prosperity of our Motherland.
We pray that Heavenly Lord keeps our people and the Motherland in peace, granting all the women with many healthy years of a prosperous life and all the best.
