Message of His Holiness Karekin II on Armed forces day

From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, our sacred sanctuary established by Christ, We extend Our Pontifical blessings and congratulations to the brave officers and soldiers of the Armenian Armed Forces, and all Armenians throughout the world on the occasion of Armed Forces Day.
On this festive day our souls are filled with the sense of pride because our victorious army protects the boundaries of our homeland through a brave spirit. The Army Day is a message to our people to bring every effort and contribution to the development of Armenia and Artsakh and our vision of progress and national awakening. Our patriotic works will also exacerbate the memory of the heroes who sacrificed their lives to their homeland.
In front of the Holy Altar, we pray that our Heavenly Lord blesses and keeps all the soldiers and commanders victorious.
Let the peace of the Almighty Lord be established in the world peacefully and securely, and our native land and worldwide people be strengthened.
