Members of the Supreme Spiritual Council visited the Depatriated Artsakh Armenians 03.11.2023

On November 2, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; accompanied by members of the Supreme Spiritual Council, visited Tsaghkadzor diocesan camp of Kotayk Diocese, where 38 families forcibly displaced from Artsakh found shelter.

The Armenian Patriarch, conveying his blessings and paternal love to the people of Artsakh, emphasized that the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin with its worldwide dioceses is engaged in the work of taking care of the spiritual, humanitarian and social needs of our children forcibly displaced from Artsakh these days. Along with the provision of accommodation and social assistance programs to the displaced Artsakh residents in the diocesan structures, a psychological mission is also being carried out. 

The Armenian Patriarch told the Artsakh Armenians to arm themselves with faith, hope and the spirit of optimism for the future. His Holiness expressed confidence that with God's help and united efforts, our children of Artsakh will be able to overcome the trials and challenges they face.

The Catholicos of All Armenians and the members of the SSC also took an interest in the living conditions of the people of Artsakh, their needs, stressing that the support programs will be ongoing.
