Members of the Supreme Spiritual Council Visit Sardarapat Memorial

On June 1, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; visited the Sardarapat Memorial. He was accompanied by members of the Supreme Spiritual Council and Diocesan Primates.
They placed a wreath at the Memorial in memory of those Armenians who sacrificed their lives for the Homeland during the May Heroic battles.
Following the ceremony, the Catholicos of All Armenians offered a requiem service for the peace of the souls of the Homeland defenders.
