Meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council was Convened

On September 22, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council was convened, during which the question of holding the Blessing of the Holy Muron to be held on October 1 was taken into consideration.
Taking into account the difficult situation created around Artsakh, a decision was made to postpone the Blessing of the Holy Muron and related events.
It was also decided to declare October 1 as a nationwide prayer day for Artsakh, on the occasion of which a special order of prayer will be performed following the Divine Liturgy in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and all churches in Armenia and Diaspora.
