Holy Lance ‘Geghard’ will be Brought out on November 30

This year, the Armenian Apostolic Church will celebrate the Feast of the Apostles St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew on November 30.
Yet in 2015, according to the Pontifical Encyclical of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the feast was proclaimed as a Pilgrimage Day of Holy Lance (Geghard).
On the occasion of the Feast, Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist and St. Vardan Chapel-baptistery, during which the Holy Lance (Geghard) will be taken to the Chapel-baptistery.
At 10:30 a.m. the faithful are invited to Holy Etchmiadzin, to participate in the Divine Liturgy and receive the blessings and graces of the miraculous Holy Lance.
