His Holiness Karekin II Receives Vladimir Rushailo, Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council
On May 29, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received Mr. Vladimir Rushailo, Secretary of the Security Council for the Russian Federation. Mr. Serj Sarkissian, Secretary of the President?s Security Council and Interior Minister of the Republic of Armenia, accompanied the guest.
Mr. Rushailo noted that he has made it a tradition to visit the spiritual center of all Armenians, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, each time he arrives in Armenia.
During their meeting His Holiness and the guest accorded great importance to the development and fostering of Armenian ?Russian ties and relations.
His Grace Bishop Yezras Nersissian, Primate of the Armenian Church Diocese of New Nakhijevan and Russia, and Mr. Anatoli Drukov, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia, attended the meeting.
