His Holiness Karekin II Receives Support of His Holiness Alexy II and His Grace George Carey
Earlier this month, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, sent special telegrams to spiritual leaders of Sister Churches concerning the "Baron Der" property of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
In response to the letter of the Armenian Pontiff, copies of the letters from His Holiness Alexy II, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia (Russian Orthodox Church), and His Grace George Carey, Archbishop of Canterbury (Church of England), have been received in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
In the letters, the heads of both churches share the concern of His Holiness and express their willingness to support the Armenian Church in finding a favorable solution to the issue.
