His Holiness Karekin II Receives Ambassador of the Ukraine
On April 9, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received Mr. Vladimir Tiaglo, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Ukraine to the Republic of Armenia.
His Holiness greeted the ambassador to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, and expressed happiness that the centuries old Armenian-Ukrainian relationship will continue to improve as a result of the cooperation between the two independent nations.
During the visit, the ambassador expressed his appreciation for the audience. Mr. Tiaglo stated that the Armenian community of the Ukraine contributes much to the social and cultural life of his country.
His Holiness wished the ambassador well, and affirmed his assurance that Mr. Tiaglo would add to the strengthening of relations between the two countries and peoples.
