His Holiness Expresses Condolences to Head of Coptic Church

On 26 May, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a letter of condolence to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II of the Coptic Orthodox Church, on the armed attack on Christian pilgrims travelling in Egypt to the St. Samuel Monastery in Minya, killing over 2 dozen and wounding over 20 innocent faithful.
On behalf of the Supreme Spiritual Council, the Brotherhood of the Mother See and the Armenian Church, His Holiness expressed deep condolences and solidarity to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and the faithful of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
Strongly condemning attacks on Christians, the Pontiff prayed for God to grant a speedy recovery to the injured and for the souls of the deceased faithful to be received in the heavenly mansions.
