Gevorkian Theological Seminary (Theological University) of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Vaskenian Theological Academy accepting applications for 2020-2021 enrollment
To be considered for admission an applicant must be under the age of 25 and the citizen of the Republic of Armenia or of a foreign country. He must be a faithful member of the Holy Apostolic Armenian Church. He must have completed his secondary or higher education.
The admission of the 2020-2021 academic year will be held in the Gevorkian Theological Seminary with a written examination of the subject "ARMENIAN HISTORY".
Before the entrance exams a cognitive interview will be conducted on the following topics:
- Knowledge of the Holy Bible
-General knowledge of Armenian Church history
-Church involvement
-Personal speaking abilities
-Armenian Literature
-Music (vocal abilities)
-Foreign Language (English Language)
Admission Requirements
1. All applicants for admission are required to complete and submit an application packet addressed to the Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary.
2. Certificate of secondary (or higher) education
3. Original Document - Military Registration Card
4. Letter of recommendation from the Diocesan Primate or local parish priest
5. Health Certificate regarding status of the applicant
6. Letter of recommendation from the Director of the School
7. Proof of Residency
8. Copy of Baptismal Certificate
9. Complete Application Form (Resume)
10. Copy of current passport
11. Two 3 x 4 size photos
Applications will be accepted from May 10 to August 20, on Mondays and on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m.
