Delegation of the Mother See will Participate in Conference of Young Clergymen in Vatican City
On February 15, with the Blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the delegation of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin departed for Vatican City to participate in the conference-meeting of young clergymen being held in the framework of an official dialogue between the Eastern Orthodox and Catholic Churches.
The Delegation consists of Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Mesrop Parsamian, Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary; Rev. Fr. Vahram Melikian, Head of the Informational Department of the Mother See; and Rev. Fr. Adam Markaryan, Patriarchal Secretary of the Catholicosate.
During the one-week cognitive visit, the delegation will visit the spiritual educational centers of Catholic Church, the Apostolic Chamber, as well as, will have an official meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis, the Pontiff of Rome.
An official reception will be organized for the Conference participants by His Eminence Archbishop Khajak Parsamyan, Patriarchal Delegate of Western Europe and representative of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in Vatican, and high-rank Catholic and Armenian-Catholic clergymen.
