Catholicos of All Armenians Visits Sardarapat Memorial for First Republic Jubilee Anniversary

On May 28, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; visited the Sardarapat Memorial. He was accompanied by the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin,
His Holiness; Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of the Republic of Armenia; President Armen Sargsyan of the Republic of Armenia; and President Bako Sahakyan of the Artsakh Republic; placed a ceremonial wreath at the memorial and offered a prayer for the repose of the souls of those who perished during the heroic battles of May.
Following the ceremony, His Holiness attended the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the First Republic of Armenia and the May Heroic Battles.
Around 70 servants of the spiritual leadership of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia participated in the Military parade "Century of Victories" held on the occasion of the 100th jubilee.
