Catholicos of All Armenians Sent Letter of Condolence to RA Honored President Serzh Sargsyan

His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a letter of condolence to the honored President of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Serzh Sargsyan, and Sargsyan family, on the occasion of the untimely death of Mrs. Rita Sargsyan. “…the late Mrs. Rita Sargsyan of blessed memory was a patriotic Armenian woman with a kind heart, honest character, sincere faith, caring woman and mother, devoted child of our people. She supported you in your responsible mission both in Artsakh and in Armenia; she completely shared with you the difficulties of the Artsakh war; rejoiced in the success of our people; she always tried to do her best for the sake of the progress and prosperity of our Fatherland. … The late Mrs. Rita, with her simple and direct nature, was an Armenian woman living with the difficulties of our people and the vision of a bright future. She lived with her heartfelt commitments, considering those to be the duty of her soul before the Lord and our people. The late Mrs. Rita was implementing this mission with consistency, crowning the course of her earthly life with God-pleasing deeds, whose fruitful earnings were transferred to eternity”, - stated in part in the letter of condolence of His Holiness. The Pontiff of All Armenians wished the comfort of the Holy Spirit to Sargsyan family, praying for the peace and tranquility of the soul of the late Mrs. Rita Sargsyan of blessed memory.
