Catholicos of All Armenians Sends Condolences to the President of Iran

On January 30, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a letter of condolence to Mr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the occasion of the terrible earthquake in the Khoy city in Iran.
“We are deeply saddened to learn about the catastrophic earthquake that occurred in the city of Khoy, Iran, as a result of which there are destructions, human casualties and injuries. From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, we convey our condolences and prayerful support to you, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the entire people of Iran," stated His Holiness in his condolence message.
His Holiness asked that the Almighty God grant consolation for all the mourners and wished health to the injured victims of the earthquake.
