Catholicos of All Armenians Receives Newly Ordained Priests
On November 26, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the seven priests who were ordained on October 7. After having completed the 40-day period of seclusion in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, they visited to receive the blessings and Pontifical message of His Holiness.
Catholicos Karekin II conveyed his blessings to the priests and urged them to serve the people and Church with all responsibility and commitment. The Pontiff urged the priests to be an example of a pious, devout and patriotic person for their communities through their word, deed and lifestyle; and through dedicated service further enhance the good reputation and name of the Armenian Church.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Holiness blessed the newly ordained priests and gifted to each of them a communion holder, hand cross, wishing the guidance of the Holy Spirit in their pastoral mission.
In the coming days the priests will be assigned to their first pastoral service.

Yeremia Sargsyan has been appointed to serve in the Armenian Church Chaplaincy of the Armenian Armed Forces.
