Catholicos of All Armenians Received Youth from the Armenian Diocese of Argentina
On July 25, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received graduating students of the Vicente Lopez "Tertzakian" and the AGBU "Marie Manoogian" colleges, from the St. Gregory the Illuminator Church of the Armenian Diocese of Argentina. They were accompanied by Rev. Fr. Maghakia Amiryan, spiritual pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator church.
Catholicos of All Armenians welcomed the young pilgrims' visit to Armenia and Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, expressed his appreciation to the school trustees and teachers, due to which Armenian children are educated with national values and strengthened by the holy faith of the ancestors.
His Holiness highlighted the role of such pilgrimages, stressing that they give an opportunity to the Armenian people to know their homeland, history, and culture more deeply and contribute to the preservation and strengthening of the Armenian spirit in the Diaspora.
His Holiness urged the teenagers to revel in the wonder and devotion of the Homeland and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, adding that thanks to their homeland, Armenians around the world have survived and received strength and power from Holy Etchmiadzin.
The Armenian Pontiff urged the young people to display their enthusiasm and zeal in their studies, so that the deserving children of the nation would be able to realize benefits for their homeland and the Mother Church through their patriotic service in the future.
The meeting was attended by His Grace Bishop Moushegh Babayan, Director of the Administrative Department of Mother See.
