Catholicos of All Armenians Received Teachers of the Holy Translators School of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem
On June 19, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received teachers of the Holy Translators School of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem. They were led by Rev. Fr. Norayr Gazayan, a member of the St. James Brotherhood and Dean of the school.
During the meeting, Father Norayr presented to His Holiness the purpose of the visit of the Armenian and foreign teachers of the school and reflected on the activities of the school.
The Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his appreciation to the school teachers, noting that the education and upbringing of children is one of the blessed missions in a human life. His Holiness stressed that according to God's commandments, educating generations means to create a bright future for mankind; free from evil, lawlessness, and violence, with a future full of kindness, love and peace.
The Pontiff of All Armenians wished God's assistance and guidance to the school teaching staff, so that they be persistent in their sacred mission, recording new successes.
The Armenian Pontiff also described to the guests the programs implemented by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in the sphere of education, specifically referring to public schools, pre-schools and Youth Centers operating under the auspices of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
His Holiness posed questions to the teachers about the educational process of the Holy Translators School and the daily life of the pupils.
