Catholicos of All Armenians Received Representatives of United Bible Society

On March 6, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Mrs. Marina Lomova, Director of Translation Programs of the United Bible Society and Mrs. Marica de Lang, Coordinator of Translation Programs of the Armenian Bible Society. They were accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Yeznik Petrosyan, General Secretary of the Bible Society in Armenia.
During the meeting, His Holiness highlighted the mission of the international organization to translate the Bible into different languages and make it accessible to people, welcoming the long-term cooperation between the United Bible Society and the Armenian Bible Society.
The Catholicos of All Armenians also confirmed with satisfaction that due to the praiseworthy service, various programs and publications of the Armenian Bible Society, the Armenians have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Bible, be enriched with the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures and strengthen their religious feelings.
The guests, in their turn, expressed profound gratitude to His Holiness for the support to the Armenian Church and the active activity of the Bible Society of Armenia.
At the conclusion, the Catholicos of All Armenians wished that God grants the United Bible Society new achievements.
