Catholicos of All Armenians Received Representatives of the Swiss Red Cross

On May 14, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received representatives of the Swiss Red Cross. They were accompanied by Mrs. Jina Sargizova, Swiss Red Cross representative in Armenia. Expressing his appreciation to the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross for carrying out humanitarian blessing activities in different countries of the world, the Catholicos of All Armenians welcomed the program implemented by the organization in Armenia and the provided assistance to those in need.
On this occasion, His Holiness referred to the initiated similar charitable and social projects by the Mother See, as well as the cooperation with the various international organizations. The Catholicos of All Armenians also represented the Red Cross representatives the issue of Karen Ghazaryan, a resident of the Berdavan village of Tavush province, who was found unknown in summer 2018, in the territory of Azerbaijan. At the conclusion, His Holiness wished the representatives an effective mission in Armenia.
