Catholicos of All Armenians Received RA Army Chaplaincy

On March 07, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received chaplains of the RA Army Chaplaincy, who gathered in the Mother See to summarize the three-month activities.
At the meeting, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, Head Chaplain of the Armed Forces, with gratitude reflected on the caring attitude of His Holiness towards the Armenian Army and Chaplaincy, following which, presented the works being implemented by the clergymen. Deacon Gor Gyurjyan, senior chaplain of the RA Defense Ministry, delivered a report on the three-month activities of the Chaplaincy.
During the conversation, the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed His Pontifical Blessings and message to the Army chaplains and His Grace Bishop Vrtanes, highly appreciating their zealous service and the work with the soldiers. His Holiness stressed the importance of such kind of meetings which give an opportunity to examine the work being done through the sharing pastoral experience with each other, as well as, finding solutions to the existing challenges and issues.
