Catholicos of All Armenians Received Newly Appointed Ambassador of USA to the Republic of Armenia

On April 9, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Mrs. Lynne Tracy, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Armenia.
His Holiness expressed his congratulations on the occasion of the appointment, wishing her an effective mission in Armenia. The Catholicos of All Armenians expressed with satisfaction the cooperation and friendship between Armenia and USA.
During the meeting, they referred to the challenges and difficulties facing the country, as well as the peacekeeping efforts by the spiritual leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan for the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
His Holiness and the USA Ambassador also spoke about the spiritual and national mission of the Armenian Church in the past and in the life of the Armenian people today.
