Catholicos of All Armenians Received Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs

On February 10, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Mr. Zareh Sinanyan, High Commissioner of Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
At the meeting, reference was made on the steps aimed at the deepening and strengthening of the Armenia-Diaspora relations, the measures being taken toward this, and the important role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in this context.
The Pontiff of All Armenians and Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs spoke about the troubled situation in the countries of the Middle East and the need to support the Armenian communities continuously.
During the conversation, a reference was made on the issue of the proper preservation of the Armenian sacred places and centuries-old cultural heritage in different countries.
