Catholicos of All Armenians Received Ambassador of Armenia to the Republic of Georgia

On November 24, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Mr. Rouben Sadoyan, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Republic of Georgia.
Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, His Holiness wished him success in his mission, for increasing the cooperation between the two countries, and strengthening of the centuries-old friendship between the Armenian and Georgian people.
During the meeting, they reflected on the Armenian community in Georgia and ways to overcome the various challenges they were facing. The Catholicos of All Armenians highlighted the Embassy’s cooperation with the Armenian Diocese of Georgia as a positive step in this direction.
At the conclusion of the meeting , His Holiness once again conveyed his best wishes to the Ambassador.
The meeting was attended by His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan, Director of the External Relations and Protocol Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
