Catholicos of All Armenians Received AGBU President Mr. Berge Setrakian

On January 17th, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Mr. Berge Setrakian, President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (ABGU).
At the beginning of the meeting, His Holiness and Mr. Setrakian discussed the church-building, educational and social projects of the Mother See and the AGBU, and as well as various issues relating to the national-ecclesiastical life.
The AGBU President presented His Holiness the AGBU activities in Armenia and Artsakh, and reflected on the future projects.
His Holiness extended his blessings and appreciation to the ABGU President and the union members, for the displayed support to the Motherland and Mother See and also for their dedicated activities.
The meeting was attended by His Grace Bishop Vardan Navasardyan, Director of the Christian Education Center of Mother See; Rev. Fr. Shahe Ananian, Director of the Ecumenical Affairs Department, and the Publishing Department of Mother See; and Rev. Fr. Karekin Hambardzumyan, Dean of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary.
Mr. Setrakian also attended the Divine Liturgy offered in the Mother Cathedral.
