Catholicos of All Armenians Pays Pontifical visit to the United States of America
On April 29, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, departed for a Pontifical visit to the United States of America. The Pontiff of All Armenians will held meetings with the Primate and Diocesan Council of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America. His Holiness will also meet with the benefactors of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to discuss the programs being implemented through their sponsorship. Meetings with other individuals and organizations are planned to be held, during which issues related to the consequences of the Second War of Artsakh and the current challenges will be discussed. Accompanying the Pontiff of All Armenians during the pontifical visit to the USA are His Eminence Archbishop Khajak Parsamyan, Pontifical Delegate of Western Europe; and His Eminence Archbishop Yezras Nersissian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhijevan. By the order of the Armenian Patriarch, His Eminence Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Pontifical Legate with special commitments of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin; has departed for the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.
