Catholicos of All Armenians Met with Representatives of Armenian Evangelical Official Orgnizations

On November 3, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received representatives of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA); Armenian Evangelical World Council; Armenian Evangelical Union of North America; and the Haigazian University Board of Trustees. The meeting was held at the Headquarters of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.
The representatives expressed their appreciation to His Holiness for the opportunity to meet with him during his Pontifical Visit to the Western Diocese. They presented to His Holiness the activities of the Armenian Evangelical Church and the Armenian Missionary Association of America. They were pleased to note the cooperation with the Mother Church, and expressed readiness to make more efforts in the future to reach spiritual unity in the life of the worldwide Armenians.
His Holiness stated his satisfaction for the meeting and conveyed his blessings and appreciation to the representatives of the Armenian Evangelical Church. His Holiness specifically emphasized the willing spirit of the Evangelical church officials, acting in unity with the Armenian Apostolic Church in recent times, through which it had made it possible to strengthen national unity and restore the unification of spiritual life.
Concluding his remarks, the Armenian Pontiff expressed hope that the Armenian Evangelical Church will continue to extend its benevolent services, culminating in new results and achievements, for the sake of strengthening the Homeland and the welfare of the Armenian people worldwide.
