Catholicos of All Armenians Meets with Staff of the Mother See

On January 10th, in the Events Auditorium of the “Vatche and Tamar Manookian” Library, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the administrative directors and employees of the departments and of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The meeting was opened with remarks by Bishop Mushegh, Director of Operations of the Mother See. Congratulating His Holiness and the secularstaff of the Mother See on the joyous occasion of the start of the New Year, Bishop Mushegh assured that the Mother See staff, as one family, will continue to bring their support and contribution to the sacred mission of the Holy Etchmiadzin.
Mr. Norayr Khachatryan, employee of the Mother See, spoke on behalf of the staff of the Mother See, and conveyed congratulatory remarks to His Holiness. He also stressed that during the 20 years of enthronement of His Holiness, many programs have been implemented in the preaching, education, social and church-building spheres. Mr. Khachatryan wished His Holiness strength and perseverance to overcome the challenges facing the nation and the Church.
Then, the Catholicos of All Armenians offered his congratulations on the occasion of the Feasts of New Year and Christmas, extending his Pontifical blessings and best wishes to the staff.
His Holiness expressed his appreciation to the employees of the Mother See for their devoted service, highlighting the importance of their efforts in successfully realizing the mission of the Armenian Church.
His Holiness reflected on the important programs planned for the year. Particularly, declaring 2019 as the Year of the Family, Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin will held family valuation in society, family values and strength-enhancing activities. His Holiness informed about the convention of the National Ecclesiastical Assembly; renovation works of the Mother Cathedral and the Residence and new church programs in the current year.
At the conclusion His Holiness blessed the Mother See staff with the Lord’s Prayer, and wished them a blessed and fruitful year.
