Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On September 08, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; hosted the creative group of the “Radamisto” opera, accompanied by Mr. Gagik Minasyan, Director of the State Philharmonic of Armenia.

Welcoming the visit of famous artists from different countries to the Mother See, His Holiness Karekin II with gratitude reflected on their nice initiative, which will provide the Armenian audience with a great satisfaction and enthusiasm. The Pontiff of All Armenians, conveying His Blessings and best wishes to the creative group, also emphasized the importance of the consolidation of the children from various nations around that cultural event, which will greatly contribute to the strengthening of the spirit of cooperation and cultural ties.

In their turn, Director of the State Philharmonic of Armenia Mr. Gagik Minasyan, conductor George Pahlivanyan and stage director Robert Sturua, discussed about the importance and peculiarity of the staging of “Radamisto” opera, informing His Holiness about the activities being implemented.

Following the meeting, the creative group members visited the museums of the Mother See.
