Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On January 19, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; held a farewell meeting with Mr. Timur Urazyaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia, who was completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia. His Holiness expressed his appreciation to the Ambassador for his contribution to the development of the relations and cooperation between the two countries during his tenure. The Pontiff of All Armenians reflected with gratitude to the close cooperation formed between the Mother See and the Republic of Kazakhstan, particularly, in the field of organizing inter-religious dialogue, within the framework of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. In his turn, the Ambassador Mr. Timur Urazyaev, with appreciation spoke about the Armenian-Kazakh relations, as well as, his impressions related to the passing years of his service in Armenia, and the Armenian community living in Kazakhstan. During the conversation, reference was made to the Artsakh war, the post-war difficulties, the ways to overcome the existing problems. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Catholicos of All Armenians wished the Ambassador productive activity and success in his further service.
