On September 27, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; had a telephone conversation with the President of Armenia Mr. Armen Sargsyan.
The Armenian Pontiff and the Armenian president touched upon the ways of consolidating the potential of the Armenians all over the world in the conditions of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan, the steps to be taken by the Armenian authorities and national leaders.
The Armenian Pontiff informed about the results of his earlier meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis, as well as the cancellation of the remaining meetings of his visit in the current situation and his return to Armenia.
