Catholicos of All Armenians Conveyed his Blessings to Fr. Yeremia

On March 25, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch andCatholicos of All Armenians; received Rev. Fr. Yeremia Abgaryan, member of the Brotherhood of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Fr. Yeremia was accompanied by His Grace Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother See and His Grace Bishop Moushegh Babayan, Director of the Administrative Department of Mother See. On March 1, Father Yeremia defended a thesis titled: “Canonical-Church of Perceptions of Priesthood and Priesthood- activity in Ancient Armenia, according to the “Book of Canons of Armenia”. On March 21, in the St. Mesrop Mashtots Church in Oshakan, Fr. Yeremia received the rank of Archimandrite by His Grace Bishop Moushegh Babayan.
During the meeting, His Holiness Karekin II, conveyed his Pontifical blessings and congratulations to Fr. Yeremia, urging him to continue his service in the Armenian Church with more zeal and devotion.
On this occasion His Holiness granted Father Yeremia the Pectoral Cross.
