Catholicos of All Armenians Congratulates Re-Elected President of Iran

On May 20, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a congratulatory message to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, on the occasion of his re-election as Prsident of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“From the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, we convey you our congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your re-election as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
We are pleased that through your presidency the faithful people of Iran continue to dynamically work to ensure the progress and development of their native country.
Our people attach great importance to the further strengthening of the friendly relations between Armenia and Iran, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in various fields. We are confident that in the coming years the relations between our countries will result in new programs and initiatives, for the benefit of the development of Iran and Armenia and the welfare of our peoples”, stated His Holiness in part.
