Catholicos of All Armenians and Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Visited Artsakh
On April 13, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; and His Holiness Aram I of the Catholicos Great House of Cilicia, flew to Artsakh, to express their support to the authorities of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh (NKR), the Armenians of Artsakh, and soldiers defending the Homeland.
During the visit, the Catholicos of All Armenians, and the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, were accompanied by His Grace Bishop Arshak Khachatryan, Chancellor of Mother See; His Grace Bishop Tatev Muradyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Ukraine; His Grace Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother See; Very Rev. Fr. Husik Martirosyan, Head of the Inter-Church Department of the Catholicosate of Cilicia; Rev. Fr. Petros Manuelyan, Head of the Audiovisual Department of the Catholicosate of Cilicia; Rev. Fr. Aghan Ernjakyan, staff-bearer of His Holiness Karekin II; Rev. Fr. Vahram Melikyan, Director of the Information System of the Mother See; publicist Mr. Zori Balayan, and Mr. Gabriel Jemberjyan, benefactor of the Armenian Church.
At the airport, His Holiness and Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia were met by His Eminence Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Primate of the Diocese of Artsakh; His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, spiritual primate of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia; Mr. Ashot Ghulyan, NKR National Assembly Chairman; Mr. Ararat Danielyan, NKR Minister of Justice; Ms. Narine Aghbalyan, NKR Minister of Culture; Diocesan clergy and spiritual servants of the Army.
Following their arrival, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; and His Holiness Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia; had a meeting with Mr. Bako Sahakyan, President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
