Birthday of the Pontiff of All Armenians

On August 21, on the occasion of the birthday of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the Bishops of the Mother See, members of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin, and the clergy, visited His Holiness to congratulate him and receive his blessings.
Congratulating His Holiness on behalf of the clergy and faithful, the clergymen asked God’s support for the worthy Patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and the See of the Apostle St. Thaddeus, granting him longevity and many years of pontificate to enrich and brighten the life of the Armenians and the Apostolic Church through new patriotic and church-devoted projects.
His Holiness expressed his gratitude for the warm words and congratulations, conveying his Pontifical blessing and appreciation to the attendees. The Catholicos of All Armenians noted with joy that thanks to the diligent and united service of the clergy over the past several years, the Armenian Church has recorded numerous successes in the spiritual life and different fields. On this occasion, His Holiness urged the clergymen to continue their service towards the Church and to the faithful people with zeal and dedication.
On the occasion of the Birthday of the Catholicos of All Armenians, many congratulations were received from the Sister Churches, servants of the Armenian Church, State, political and public figures and different Diaspora Armenian communities.
