Annunciation Day - Blessing of Women Expecting the Joy of Motherhood to Be Offered

On April 7, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of Annunciation.

Several years ago, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians declared the Feast of Annuciation as the day of blessing of women expecting the joy of motherhood.

On this occasion, in Holy Etchmiadzin and Armenian churches, a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated and a special blessing offered.
