In addition to the exhortation of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; concerning the pandemic, we would like to inform our pious people that due to the current situation, a decision has been made to continue offer the Holy Week services and Divine Liturgies behind closed doors, without the presence of faithful.
In those State of Emergency conditions, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin exhorts the faithful to end the fast on April 11, following the Candlelight Divine Liturgy, and in the following days, maintaining the rules of self-isolation with the maximum responsibility, separately visit churches and receive Holy Communion from the pastors.
The Catholicos of All Armenians has instructed the diocesan Primates in the Diaspora to act according to the situation in their countries.
With the application of all the rules of health, the pastors will continue to carry out their spiritual mission with the available means, for the consolation of our faithful people.
