A series of lectures will be organized, entitled "The liturgy from the pages of the Bible to today"

With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; His Grace Bishop Vahan Hovhannisyan, Director of the “Garegin I” educational center of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, will present a series of lectures under the title "The Liturgy from the pages of the Bible to today".
The lectures will take place in the Holy Mother of God Church in Vagharshapat of the Armavir Diocese on December 14 and 21, 2023; on January 11, 18 and 25, 2024. The lectures start at 18:30p.m.
During the five-week lectures, the sacrament of the liturgy, biblical understandings of sin, Christ's sacrifice, Messiah, and salvation will be presented.
A reference will be made to the Old Testament sacrifice as a means of atonement for sins, as well as the beginning of the liturgy and confirmation of the Communion sacrament according to the New Testament.
