A meeting of official representatives of the Old Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox church families took place

On September 16-17, the meeting of the official representatives of the Old Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox church families will take place in the "Logos" Patriarchal Center of the Coptic Orthodox Church (Wadi al-Natrun, Egypt) in order to restore the official theological dialogue and re-evaluate the work done previously.
The meeting was opened with the blessing remarks of the Leader of the Coptic Orthodox Church, His Holiness Tawadros, the Pope of Alexandria and All Africa, and His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew (read by the official representative, His Eminence Metropolitan Emmanuel).
The meeting will discuss the moral-pastoral and confessional-theological issues facing the two church families: with the agenda of reaching a common position.
With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin is presented to the congregation by His Grace Bishop Ashot Mnatsakanyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Egypt and the Dean of the Gevorgyan Theological Seminary Very Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Shahe Ananyan.
