Catholicos of All Armenians Expresses Condolences
With deep sorrow we were informed about the terrorist acts in Sri Lanka's Catholic churches during the Feast of the Holy Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, which took the lives of hundreds of innocent people and caused serious injuries to another several hundred people.
Expressing our support to our Christian brothers and sisters, we strongly condemn the cruelest acts during the most important Christian Feast.
At the same time, we urge the authorities of the Sri Lanka Democratic Socialist Republic and international organizations to take all necessary measures to eradicate the deadly crimes of religious intolerance and hatred.
We pray for the servants of our Sister Church. We also ask our Heavenly Lord to grant peace to the souls of the victims and a rapid healing to the wounded.
