Catholicos of All Armenians Accepts Resignation of Archbishop Anania Arabajian
Based upon the letter of resignation submitted by Archbishop Anania Arabajian, His Holiness Karekin II has issued a Pontifical Order defrocking the former member of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin. As of this date, the defrocked clergyman is a member of the laity and shall be known by his baptismal name of Avetik Arabajian.
