The Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople arrived at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On September 27, His Eminence Archbishop Sahak Mashalyan, Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople arrived at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. Archbishop Sahak Mashalyan will take part in the re-consecration ceremonies of the Mother Cathedral and Blessing of the Holy Muron.
On this occasion, the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin led the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople in a procession to the St. John the Baptist and St. Vardan Chapel-baptistery, where the "Hrashapar" ceremony was performed.
The acting Grand Sacristan of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Harutyun Kirakosyan, greeted and welcomed Patriarch Sahak on behalf of the Brotherhood.
Then the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, expressing gratitude to the Almighty Lord for being in the spiritual center of Armenians again, conveyed his blessing and best wishes to the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
Afterwards, the private conversation of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and His Eminence Archbishop Sahak Mashalyan, Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople was held in the Pontifical Residence.
