New Appointment in the Mother See
By the Pontifical Order of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Rev. Fr. Zohrab Kostanian, has been appointed Deputy Director of the ?Shoghakat? Television Company. Fr. Zohrab is a member of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin.
Fr. Zohrab has recently returned to the Mother See to continue his service to the Armenian Church, having recently completed his higher education. He received his Masters Degree in Theology from Marquette University in Wisconsin, USA.

Rev. Father Zohrab Kostanian
(baptismal name ? Hrant)
He was born in Vagharshapat, Armenia in 1978.
From 1984-1994 he received his primary and secondary education at Mesrop Mashtots School in Vagharshapat.
He studied at the Gevorkian Theological Seminary in Holy Etchmiadzin from 1994-2000, and graduated with excellent grades.
On March 2, 2000, he was ordained a deacon by His Grace Bishop Navasard Kjoyan.
From June to November of 2000, he worked at the Center for Christian Education of the Mother See, and later worked for the ?Shoghakat? Television Company. From 2000-2001 he attended a course entitled ?Management Skills for Seminarians? at the American University of Armenia. From September to December, 2001, he studied at the Ecumenical Institute of Bosse (of the World Council of Churches), in the Faculty of Theology of the University of Geneva, Switzerland. In 2001, he defended his graduation thesis entitled: ?Gevork Skeratsi and his work: Interpretation of the Acts of Apostles?. In 2002, he was appointed as the representative of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin for the Shoghakat Television Company. In 2002, he was ordained a celibate priest by His Grace Bishop Navasard Kjoyan. From 2002-2004, he studied at the Department of Theology of Marquette University, Wisconsin, USA. He successfully defended his thesis entitled ?The Christology of the Gospel of John? and he received a Masters Degree in Theology. Fr. Zohrab is currently a member of the Information Council of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, a lecturer in New Testament Studies at the Gevorkian Theological Seminary, and Deputy Director of the Shoghakat Television Company.
