Special Blessing Service in St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral of Yerevan

On December 9, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, presided during a special service held in the Mother Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator in Yerevan. Present for the service were the Members of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin, as well as benefactors of the Cathedral, Mr. Norair Kevorkian and Mr. Saro Khoudaverdian.
Following the service, His Holiness addressed words of blessing to the national benefactors on behalf of the faithful, noting specifically, ?We wish once more to become the one who expresses your love and appreciation by extending our sincere feelings of gratitude to our benefactors. We pray asking for long life and success in their work. May God lead them to what is kind, beautiful, honest and true, so that those values should prevail in their family life, so that through them, the life of the Armenian Church and our Motherland should prosper.?
At the conclusion of His Holiness? remarks, the Pontifical procession moved to the St. Ashkhen chapel, named after the Queen of Armenia and wife to King Trdat, which was built due to the sponsorship of Mr. and Mrs. Kevorkian, and a solemn requiem Repose of Souls Service was conducted in memory of the family of the national benefactors.
